The following steps will guide you through the process of downloading The rule book tool from our website and installing it on your computer.
Step 1. Click the ‘Download Rule Book Tool’ button on our website.
Step 2. Click ‘Run’.
Downloading the file may take several minutes. (If you have broadband or ADSL this should take about 1–2 minutes. For users with dial-up internet or a poor connection this could take up to 20 minutes).
While the download is taking place, the open window will look like this:
Step 3. Click on ‘Run’
Step 4. Click ‘Next’
Step 5. Click ‘Next’
Step 6. Click on ‘Next’. This will save the program on your C drive in the ‘Program Files’ folder. If you want to save the program somewhere else, click on ‘Change’ and choose the location.
Step 7. Click ‘Install’
Step 8. Click ‘Finish’
This is where the tool will end up if you don’t change the location.
Step 9. If you want a shortcut to the tool on your desktop, right click on the icon.
Step 10. Once you are using the tool you files will be saved in your ‘My Documents’ folder unless you choose another location using ‘Save As’.
